The dealership in Emerald has operated in it current location for over 30 years. Emerald branch was acquired by Centracks in 2002 along with our Rockhampton and Biloela branches. Recently there has been an expansion into the range of products we sell and service to include industrial and construction equipment to go beside our established products we have become known for.

The development began around our location to support new industries including the mining industry and the continue expansion of the farming industry. Over these years we have encountered good years and some not so good through years of drought and poor pricing, yet we have always managed to survive and get stronger. Which is a credit to our customers for supporting us through their hard times knowing we will always be there for them.

The Emerald branch covers an area of around a 250km radius from Emerald and has a market requirement of nearly every product that Centracks services from the small ride on lawn mower right through to large combine harvesters as well as large Ranger wheel loaders and Merlo Telehandlers. Our customer base includes customers living in town on small house blocks to farmers who farm over 60,000 acres of country, to contractors operating 4-5 machines.

Recently the dealership has undergone some minor and major expansion and refurbishment. Some of this was a result of a series of natural disasters that struck the Emerald area in a period of 4 months in late 2007 which included a mini tornado which damaged and flooded the show room and workshop area. Even under these circumstances & knowing that our customers needed us, we continued to operate with very little disruption to our customers. Several months later Emerald was hit with record rain fall which filled a near empty Fairbairn dam to bring it up to 165% full causing the Nogoa river to break it banks and flood nearly half the town including the dealership. Again with the help of our staff we managed to continue to operate for our customers and have rebuilt. This time was also used to improve our display of new and used machinery by constructing a large under covered display area to keep all our machinery out of the elements. The showroom was rebuilt to give it a slightly new look and modernize.

The Emerald branch currently has 16 employees with a combined experience of over 100 years of machine and farming experience. With this experience we work well to help provide solutions to nearly anything you may need.

Like Centracks the Central highland area has seen a lot of changes over the years. Originally the farming area of the highlands was the largest industry in the area, but over the years we have seen some competition with the expansion and booming of the mining sector. Over the last few seasons the farming industry has been able to move forward again through good seasons, good prices and the increased use in technology by reducing input costs and input labour. We have moved to work with all the industries by expanding into the construction and utility market where we can offer all our customers products to suit their business. All these points together continued support by Centracks will see us continue to prosper and move in an ever changing environment.
